Yes, Twinklenook is free right now. If we ever add paid features, we will tell you in advance, and whether to use them will be up to you.

No. Your child never signs in to YouTube. You create one parent account with your email or Google, and add a profile for each child inside it.

For children up to 12. You pick an age rating separately for each child's profile.

Any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer. You can also add it to the home screen, where it opens like an app.

We combine the age rating, language and topics you choose with your blocks and our automatic filters. No filter is perfect, so you also get a watch history and one-tap blocking.

You set a daily limit and the days and hours when watching is allowed. When time is up, your child sees a goodbye screen instead of the next video. You can add extra minutes whenever you like.

We don't show ads of our own and we don't track your family for advertising. Ads that appear inside the YouTube player are placed and controlled by YouTube.

Twinklenook is available in English, Russian, Ukrainian and Spanish, and you can choose the language of videos for each child.

Only what the service needs: your email address, your password stored as a secure hash, the profiles you create and what your child watches in the app. If you allow it, we also count visits and clicks on the parent pages with Google Analytics. The Privacy Policy has the full details.
